There are a wide range of reasons why you might want to find a counsellor.

You may have lost a loved one.

You may be having a difficult time in a close relationship.

You may be experiencing low self-esteem or low self-confidence.

You may have difficulty with an addiction such as alcohol.

You may experience anxiety in social situations.

There are also a wide range of emotions you might be experiencing because of your situation.

You may also experience these emotions both mentally and physically - like tense shoulders, or butterflies in the tummy.

No one person is the same in their experience and the above examples are just a few, so don't think that because it's not listed, your feelings and emotions aren't just as important!

Sharing with a friend or loved one might be too difficult, you may even feel like you're burdening those around you if you share. But it's really important to know that you're not alone in your experience, and this is why you might seek counselling, to take the opportunity to share with someone who's completely separate from the situation, who can empathise and listen to you and help you work through the feelings and emotions you're experiencing without any fear of judgement or uninvited advice.

Having time and space set aside so you can look at what you're going through with a trained counsellor can help provide perspective, understanding and ways to move forward for the future, so why not get in touch to book in a half price "get to know you" session? Call 07840 375903 or email me.

You're not alone.

It's OK to not be OK.
